Is there anyone reproducing the console clock??? It seams like a cool part that is hard to find in working condition. My clock was gone in favor of aftermarket gauge pod... I Just hadn't seen anyone reproduce em to my knowledge..
There are still clocks available(used). I have bought and sold several, both '67 and '68. You can get the mechanical movements replaced with quartz so that it actually works.

There are several vendors, I used ISI out of Roscoe, Illinois. I purchased the service from them via Ebay.

I haven't had to take one out yet, I've just bought and sold ones already out of the console.
The one car of the 4 I've owned that is supposed to have one, the interior was missing from that car.

Easy to remove once console is out. Bolts in from underside.

It's been a while since I did mine but if your just having the works fixed isn't it just a couple screws on the side and the wiring connectors to pull the guts out?
I've been told that one doesn't work with the console clock, but no one seems quite certain of that.

If you go to the item and hover over the Notes(Important Part Details) section it says, "This clock is in the dash. This kit will not work with the console clock."
There was a dash mounted clock for '68 Firebirds? '69 yes, but '68?
