My 69 firebird needs a new radiator support, or core support. There are many reproductions out there that vary in price. I had heard or read that AMD's version (Auto Metal Direct 350-3569 Radiator Core Support) was built an heavy duty as the OEM one. Heartbeat indicates thiers is HD, but doesn't offer who makes it. But then again, everyone indicates theirs is identical and the best. Would you share your experiences and type reproduction radiator support you have used? How did it fit, align, bolt up, look, etc. Thanks much!
Hey, and if you have or know where a good NOS one is, I am interested. Cole
I bought the one from heartbeat. Seemed to be the best one when I bought in 2yrs ago. Still in box. I will try to find it and open it up and have a look. I agree, the rad support is all important to ensure panel line up. I would get a NOS but the price is crazy.

I have used Goodmark and Dynacorn for '68. (same one as '69)
Had a couple very minor alignment issues with the Goodmark one, and I'd say the Dynacorn one was 99.5% perfect.
This is one repop part the I have no issues going repro with.
I use a sheetmetal dealer from the Midwest. PM me if interested. I can pass his info along. Nobody beats his prices.
