i am trying to find a original air cleaner for my 69 Firebird 400. The problem I have is I've seen both single and dual snorkel air cleaners on EBay and in photos of restored 69's. eBay listings often specify the air cleaner is for several GM cars for several years.. Can anyone tell me what is correct ,single or dual snorkel and what other cars besides the 69 firebird use the same one? Thanks Doug
Single. '68 - '69 use the same. Here is a picture: And don't put the Buick style, red 400-4 sticker on there either.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. HEMI is amazing! 1998 Silverado Z71 - Father-daughter project 1968 400 coupe - R/A clone (Blue Pearl) (sold) 1967 326 convertible - Sold 1980 T/A SE Bandit - Sold
There are usually a couple of those for sale on eBay. Additionally, I have two bases and one lid of those type. The lid is an original from a '68 GTO and does happen to include a free Buick style sticker.

Thanks for your prompt reply and the photo. That sure helps. I guess a Buick part or GTO part would work and not that I have anything against Buicks but I won't put a Buick sticker on it. Doug
