Hey Guys, I own a 68' Coupe /400 and am considering adding a 67' Convertible /400 to my collection. I have come across a 67' convertible in CA (CA car, second owner) that has good bones, no rust /original panels, low miles, basic restoration (new paint, cleaned up undercarriage, etc.) - but the 400 motor, 4 speed trans and rear end while period correct are not matching #s. Car has largely been in stored in a warehouse since its initial restoration as part of a small collection and driven very little. Some modifications such as power disk brakes, power steering, limited slip rear end with 4.11 gears. Any guidance on market value range based upon these attributes? I am simply looking for a good looking and sound weekend driver and do want option to resell at some point without losing money. Thanks in advance.
Tough to establish price without a bunch of good pictures.
My SWAG is $12k to $17k, mostly due to non- matching drivetrain.
You don't state whether it is an original 400 'vert, or a 6 cyl transplant.

Thanks for response. Car is original 400 and the replacement engine is from another period correct totaled Firebird. Extensive pictures confirm that car is in excellent condition. Plan to see car tomorrow. Seems like $20K is reasonable price for solid CA car that requires little to no work. Assume # matching car with similar attributes would be at least $25K based upon what I've seen over the years. Seller is asking $25K OBO.
