How's it going? I'm going to finally install that QuadraJet you gave me years ago on my 400HO on my new test stand.
Love that vert of yours ... your work with your son really inspired me to get my vert. BTW, it's taking me forever and it's killing me!! lol
It would be bummer if you had to give er up but someone would be getting a great Firebird. I think prices have gone up but I'm betting this time next year it will be doing even better. US economy has been down for too long. Once you get a new government 3 trillion will popup and the game starts up again.
Boom bust ... buy low ... sell high!
Good luck!

Jim, that was an awesome get together and great video. Would like to see another one soon. Miss the group, we had a great time those three days. Probably wont sell her, too many sentimental times. Dont know what I was thinking.
Beautiful ride Doug & Dustin you got some $ in it but mostly time. You can see the vision love and care you put in your ride. You!! built this ride nobody else. You'll miss this one. How about putting her in storage for awhile out of sight out of mind. She will never ever go out of style. Love the video I've watched it a few times catchy tune.

Thanks for the kind words jrunner. Yea, about the only sentimental thing we have and would love to hold onto her but at some point have to pay the bills. After 10 years my company went out of business and its been 6 months without cash-flow. When the rubber meets the road you have to be practical and this bird may need to go. Have a few more months,- but that's kind of the picture. Had a couple friends offer to buy it and hold it till we got back on track. Then we could buy it back for the same amount. Very nice friends.
That sucks man.. So if it is definitely going to happen, go with your friends that way it is still kinda in the family. If you go outside and go for top dollar what are you going to ask? There is still the flow of people looking for a nice bird.

Both my buddys offered $50k, so good start. Dependeds how far we get before getting desperate. I love the idea of buying it back when time permits, so a stranger would probably need to offer $70k. Might seem high to many, but its a solid car and gets lots of attention anywhere I drive it. Not to mention these models are escalating in value every year. hopefully I land a job soon. Been interviewing in Minneapolis, might have to do a relocation but get to keep the bird.

Well, you'd be coming to the right town!

I can relate to the out of work and selling stuff, I've sold of all my toys but one and after landing a six figure job had it snatched from me in a year and a half. I refuse to sell my last car but if you can buy it back that's an idea, I always say I'm going to replace whatever I just sold but to get that kind of funds together at once is hard, easier to keep it and maybe borrow against it. Good luck to you and keep your head up there is a lot of us in this boat and it's bound to get better. I also didn't see where you replied to the color question I was wondering also
