Gonna try this here first. Helping out a friend who is the original owner of the above mentioned car. Vin 223379Uxxxxxx. 98% original paint on this well maintained unmolested car with 106,000 miles. Paint is nice with very little crazing. The gloss so good you can see my ford escape reflection in the rear quarter panel. All original panels, never in an accident. Floors frame rails trunk all perfect and rust free. All original matching numbers drive train. Interior is perfect. Two of the seats have been recovered as well as the dash, and there is a new carpet, but other wise every thing else is original to the car. Bumpers are nice but showing some crazing in the chrome. This car starts right up and can be driven anywhere, however the tires are like 30 plus years old. Options that I know of besides the 350HO 4 speed are power steering, console, radio, deluxe wheel covers. He has his original handwritten dealer order sheet and the protecto plate. No window sticker( not that uncommon in those days). Did not see a build sheet when doing the interior. He knows what this car is worth so serious inquires only. PM me first. I can get more pics. It started to rain and this car hasn't been wet for like 40 years.
Amervo, you are right about this car. I've known the owner since 1978 when I started working with him. He's a process engineer, so he's very meticulous. Even in 1978 he almost never took this car out. He bought this because the kids were coming and he had a Corvette. As was the norm back then A/C was shunned for the most part because of the added weight on the front end and loss of 20 horsepower or so. The Mrs had other ideas about what a family car should be so this would up being a Sunday car. He's in his mid seventies now and figures it's time. Bloomington Corvettes says a car should be 80% original to get survivor "gold" and this car is probably better than that. I've been involved in the old car hobby for 40 years myself and can say that in the last 10 years I can honestly say that I can count on one hand the number of survivors of this vintage that that came close to the high degree of originality that this car has. Anyone buying this car will be an instant hit on the show field. The hardest part will exercising restraint on not restoring this car. Heck up until last year the engine paint was all original, but because of leaking valve covers he would up fixing that and repainting them. If it does not get sold here within the next two to three weeks I will put it on bring a trailer, but I'm hoping someone here who has a great appreciation for original cars will step up. Offers around 20K ish will steal this. I have too many myself including the tata, so get the word out.
It's in Norwood, which is Bergen County. If seriously interested, PM me and I will give you my friends contact info. I will be away this weekend, so if you do want to see the car this week let me know by Fri morning.
Car is still for sale. Lot's of interest , lot's of emails . I will try and get pics of the undercarriage and drive train stamping's when I get some time. Unfortunately I will be out of the country from like the 4 till the 14th on some Archipelago out in the Caribbean. I have no idea what kind of communication ability I will have , so I may be on silent running during that time.

Car just ran 14.9 at the track a little over 94MPH. The day after Thanksgiving at Island Dragway. I think It could have gone better. I was only my first time at the track with a stick car, second time ever.I think the time is pretty good especially that it has 108,000 miles on it. It did surprise a few people there.. Love the car!!!!
