Need some help with how the dome light harness is routed. Body shop removed it and it's been so long I don't remember how it is routed along the roof and through the sail panel. I have a couple pictures removing the head liner but, of course, they don't show the harness. I have a good picture of how it plugged into the front to rear harness in the trunk.
Don't feel bad about that Dennis, mine has been stripped down and waiting for 2 years and 4 months to go into body/paint shop Post some pics sometime of your rebuild.

Try 18 years after my car was bead blasted (April 1998). My painter tells me all the block sanding is completed with the exception of the hood.

HOLY CRAP BLASTER BATMAN!! LMAO... sry dont mean to laugh, that is just freaking long enough for the body person to croak! Hope that doesnt happen, hell maybe in another 18 years he will be done.
That's two different body shops in two different states with 4 moves in between. The first shop does not even exist anymore. At least they are not listed in the business pages for that location anymore. It's my NEW painter that's current blocking out the car.
I learned after the 1st total restoration to have the car blasted, then torn apart, restored and then painted. With the 1st, I rebuilt it and got it on the road and then had it blasted and painted (same shop that blasted my '67 18 years ago). I was finding glass bead in hidden places afterwards for a long time

LOL... I thought I was the only one... Purchased car in 1979 for $50. Hot rodded for a few years then life got in the way. Pulled her out of storage 10 years ago with the intention of making her safe to drive then selling. Discovered garage time was wonderful therapy to combat the riggers of the corporate world I make a living in. At the same time, I was helping a dear old friend build a '55 Chevy truck. It took a couple years but he talked me into keeping, then building the car. Six years and a lot of hard learning later I took my maiden voyage last Sunday afternoon. (after paint - drive train has 1800 miles on it before disassembling car for paint jail) Last time I drove the car was Oct. 2014. Still have a lot of work to do. The dash and one seat is back in but little other interior. Lots of trim still missing along with windows. Sorry Pontiac lovers, motor is a 461 BBC, 700r4 trans, 12 bolt 3.73:1 posi, 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes, Hotchkis rear leafs, stock, lowered front suspension with fat sway bar. Was going to be LS powered but I chickened out. Gotta go with what you know and since I'm decidedly old school... I'd like to thank the FGF community for all the help and ideas along the way. I'm quite certain building this car without the internet for research would have been impossible. Will post more pics to photobucket when time permits.
Nice color. Close to what I ordered my '06 Mustang in.
