Not sure if I am labeling this correctly but the chrome trim that runs across the top of the windshield frame. I have removed the visors and side pillar trim, also any screws across the top, but this thing does not want to come off. I dont want to bend it out of shape either. Are there screws along the front that i need to remove? I see between the windshield and the frame some screws but it looks like they hold the retainer clips for the window trim not holding the trim itself on?

They are literally glued on with black mastic. Very hard to remove without bending and destroying them.

I got mine off with heating and slowly prying off....very tough job...
.I think that mastic was to keep water out...but water easily comes abv that smooth top of frame....not like on my Alfa , where it has a crease and lip to stop leaks)
