I re-chromed my original front bumper but did not have a rear bumper. Re-plating the front bumper was relatively expensive. My choice for the rear was to find a decent used one and re-chrome or take a chance on a repop. I heard good things about the higher quality repop from Ames. Needing to cut some cost corners, I took a chance and bought a repop for the rear. While not perfect, fit and finish is actually pretty nice. Much better than I expected. High end, correct restoration = GM parts whenever possible. If not, the Ames higher quality re-pop is a cheaper alternative.
