I have a 1967 Firebird that I purchased in 2013. I have two kids in college and need to downsize. The car is always in the garage under a car cover. No idea what it is worth. It is in Dallas, TX
In the past I have done ** Rebuilt/replaced all the front suspension ** Added power disk brakes ** Replaced all body bushings ** Added a 400 hood ** Replaced the power rams for the convertible top ** Replaced the vinyl top ** Painted it - factory color: maroon ** Replace most of the trim with new ** Added an in-dash factory tach (Camaro tach) ** Replaced the powerglide with a 4-speed overdrive automatic ** Restored the interior/trunk ** Split exhaust tips ** New windshield ** Cloned it to look like a 400. Only true factory option was the power top ** Wooden steering wheel ** Z28 quick ratio steering box ** Front spoiler ** Ebach lowering springs in front ** Rubber door/window gaskets
The car has ** Chevrolet 350 crate engine tuned for driveability ** MSD box, tach box, distributor ** Long-tube headers/duel exhaust ** Cragar SS wheels ** 12-bolt posi-rear/3.73 gears
It has never been raced. It was a family project and use it to go to car shows.
Looks like a decent car. Sounds like something I might be interested in. I'd have to replace the drivetrain with Pont engine and Trans but that's doable. Shoot me an asking price to bobman58ya@yahoo.com.
