Here are several "quick-reference' features to help satisfy those customers who may want a brief run-down on the many engineering and styling innovations introduced in the 1968 Pontiac series lineup.

° New Concealed Windshield Wiper System for Le Mans, Tempest Safari and GTO. When not in use, the wiper blades remain out of sight below the hood line. This system available as option for Tempest and Tempest Custom models. (See Exterior Styling Features in appropriate series sub-sections for the complete styling story.)

° All-new Front and Rear Side Marker Lights-all 1968 models. Provide positive side identification at front and rear. (See Exterior Styling Features for all series, and Body sub-section for complete description.)

° All-new ENDURA Front Bumper for GTO-an industry first. Made of micro-cellular material, this new bumper represents a styling innovation superior to any used in the industry today. (See Body sub-section and Special GTO Features page for complete detales.)

° All-new Delcotron Alternato-Regulator for Grand Prix-an industry first. Eliminates many external wires and connections-improves voltage control and increases battery life. (Refer to New Engine Features in Engine sub-section for complete description and application.)
° All-new Power-Flex Fan-combines excellent idle cooling characteristics with exceptionally quite operation. (See New Engine Features in Engine sub-section for description and application.)

° All-new Sports-car Styling for Tempest, Tempest Custom, Le Mans, Tempest Safari and GTO. New wheel-bases - new, wider "Wide-Tracking": stance - new, longer hood lines and short rear deck- all-new interiors. (See appropriate series in Series Availability section.)

° 4 New Power Plants -2 smooth-performing, 250-cu.-in. OHC 6 engines and 2 responsive, 350-cu.-in. V-8 engines. (See Engine sub-section.)

° All-new "Quarter Wave Tuner" for 1968 exhaust systems. Specially designed to dampen out annoying frequency vibration, this new unit replaces the conventional resonators where applicable.

° New Theft-deterrent Door Locks and Keys plus An Ignition Key Warning Buzzer-standard on all series in '68. (Refer to Body sub-section for further details.)

° Seat Belts with Pushbutton Buckle Release for All Passenger Positions-standard. Shoulder Belts with Pushbutton Buckle Release for Driver and Right Front Passenger-available on all 1968 Pontiac Series. (Refer to Body sub-section.)
