The speakers are shallow 6x9, the boxes mount with special spacer screws to the trunk floor and rear seat frame brackets. Holes are cut in the well liner for the speaker grilles. The sound is horrid with the top down and you can't see them with the top down. Put the boot on and you will never know they are there.
