I beleive the actual fenders are the same, the lower fender extensions and front valances are different for the accomodation of the park/turn signal housing.
I belive Rally Sport fenders are a bit different due to the hideaway headlight mounting points. But regular 'Maro's are the same as fgf.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. THEY'RE DIFFERENT!!!!!!!! 67/68 camaro's have a bumper bracket in between the lower fender extension and the fender. there is a slight notch or indentation upwards. 67/68 bird fenders are the same. I can snap a picture of a 67/8 camaro fender vs a 67/8 bird fender if you guys/gals want to see. We own both a camaro and bird
This is sort of irrelevant to the thread, but did 1967 'birds have Astro Ventilation? I know it is the only year with the vent windows, but I also have the round A/C vents at the left and right end of the dash. Is this different? Can someone show me what the Astro Ventilation vents look like?
'68 is the 1st hear for Astro Ventiliation. If you have round vents in your '67 dash, then the car left the factory with A/C.
You should also have a rectantular vent in the top of the center dash panel. My non-A/C car has none of those.

Wow, that would be a lot of work. Are the vent windows still in?

I don't know. (Words that should be spoken if people want to post, but words seldom spoken by people who want to post.)
Based on my knowledg base, I would tend to agree that they are different because on the same make/model there are structural difference in vehicles that are goverened by stanard/delux and various w & w/outs. Also, 69 Camaro/Firebirds are different doors. The skin is the same, but the shell stands more outboard on a Camaro.
I think you ought to post pictures of the differnce. You can rest assured that once it's out in the open, it will be committed to personal data bases.
You may not get credit for being the one who brought attention to the subject; even so, the data folks around here will present what will then be their personal information, gained from googleing about--I mean--working on cars.
Put a set of 67 camaro fenders on my 67 FB back in 85...? Only diff's i remember where no holes for emblems, and a recessed attaching area with 3 mounting holes in the headlamp area.
