My 68" is factory Teal interior. The car had Med Blue carpet, kick panels, door jamb edging, armrests, inner window trim, pillar molding, and side lace when I purchased it, which I assumed were original. Just got Teal carpet from Ames. Original door panels look Teal, but there are a lot of Blues going on inside... Would a Teal interior car have Teal carpet , kick panels, etc.?
Yes, teal carpet, door upholstery, door lock pulls, rear seat trim, seat belt webbing and covers, (deluxe) steering wheel and cap, dash, headliner, kick-panels, etc. Gorgeous in teal! Make sure all the item colors match. Some suppliers try (knowingly or unknowingly) to mix in turquoise or dark blue. (other '68 GM interior colors) Two of my 'birds have teal interior, and I really like the color.

Ok, I think I'm figuring this out. First picture is new carpet, old door panels, and misc. trim. This all seems to match the dash pad and seats - all Teal. Not sure why but the second picture shows the "Blue" carpet, kick panels pillar molding.
Throw in the Aleutian blue accents, the headliner (no Teal), and "Blue" seat backs and I'm getting closer!
How difficult is it to change the carpet in the door panels? I thought I saw where you could just get the carpet.
Al Knoch sells vinyl and carpet. You may need to hire a local upholstery shop to put the edging on the carpet for the door panels. Al Knoch MIGHT selljust the door carpet as a kit, but I am not sure. The toughest thing to deal with are the rear side panels with the metal curve. I had my local shop do those. Turned out well. If you do get supplies from Al Knoch, verify the color right away as they don't always send the correct color. (they make it right, but check sooner rather than later)
