Hey guys, installing an aftermarket cam into my 400, my first rodeo installing one. The first thing I noticed before installing it, is the bearing journals on the new cam are .0015 larger than on the old. So after lubing up the new am and installing it I had a tough time turning it by hand. When using a pair of channel locks on the nose of the cam I can spin it. I'm thinking that is too tight, or will it work itself in? Don't want to re-assemble everything unless I know the cam clearance is acceptable.
