I installed a serp belt kit form CVF last year and later realized my battery wasn't charging. I knew going into winter id have to deal with it this year. well I just realized the new alternator is internal regulator and my old voltage regulator is still hooked up. will this cause it to not charge? will it hurt anything since it was hooked up? I found a bypass kit on yearone - HU30, that says 63 to 70. Ill buy it but will this solve my issues most likely?
