About to start a restoration on a solid 69 (wife's). I'm very familiar with the 69 Camaro and the F-body platform (restored two previously) so that's a big help.
It has factory black deluxe int. with a bench seat and armrest (would need a complete overhaul, not the best shape). I was planning to use an extra set of Camaro buckets
The previous owner had told me not to trash and that he thought it was kind of a rare option.
So my Q: Is it a rare option that I should just keep in storage?
Yes, fairly rare especially because back in the day all us punks chucked them and installed buckets. People restoring their cars correctly these days will pay a premium for them.

Agree! Really hard to find option, especially deluxe. I'd use it in your car and scrap the buckets idea myself. (buckets were standard, not bench)
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
