Putting top back on engine. E'brock elec. choke carb and performer intake. Anyone have any photos of their installation? I'm having trouble with the throttle linkage and kickdown switch.
Any info would be appreciated.

Is you kick down switch for a tubo 400 or 350? I have a 350 with a cable and thanks to the guys here I was able to fabricate a kickdown set up for it. I'll try to find the pictures. Ron

you will need to fab. a new bracket if it is a factory switch. the factory switch is a very hard to find item for concorse guys, worth about $250 in good working condition. If you don't care about that kind of stuff they sell a aftermarket switch that will work. You can do a search for TH400 Kickdown switch and all the info you need will be there with pics.

I've got a 'half done' project to put a Cutlass 400 kickdown switch near the gas pedal. The parts are cheap. The NOS switch sells for $20. I should have it done by the end of the year(or sooner) and post some pics.
Thanks for the info. I found a reference through Google that shows an B&M "pull" switch. I think this will work better than the original "push" switch in this application. I can't see any way the original switch would work unless there was a different throttle linkage on the carb itself.
