First Generation Firebird

I'm new to this forum. I am currently just starting a restoration on a 69 firebird 400 convertible. I'm sure I am going to be needing quite a few parts and even more help and knowledge from everyone on this board. I know for sure I will be needing most all the chrome and several interior parts.
To start:
I would really like to find an original 400 hood in good shape.
The speedo/gauge cluster but mostly the surround, if that's what it's called.
I have a nice front bumper but it's not a 400 bumper, doesn't have the stamped holes for the emblem, so maybe a real 400 bumper?
Some 400 emblems or a good place to buy them (or all this stuff) for a reasonable price.
Rear quarter windows (this car has power windows if that matters).
Headlight buckets? The plastic that surrounds the headlights.
That's a start, I'm sure I'll find and/or think of more.
Any help in any way will absolutely be appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Rick
Hey Rick,
Welcome aboard. Good luck with your parts search, most everything you mentioned is out there somewhere , either good used or re-produced. For the most part if you can find a good original that is your best bet for fit and quality. This is the most helpful place you'll find for info.
Keep us posted on your progress and the more pics the better.
Thanks Hank, Hopefully I can find some of these hard to find parts or at least a place to look.
Your bird looks awesome!!
Rick
Rick, sent you a PM.
