Hi All,
I have recently acquired a 67 and am now trying to figure out if they ever came with a factory installed or dealer installed engine block heater system. My car has a pump/heater tied into the heater system. The hoses all look original and it kind of looks like it might have been a dealer installed option. This is a Canadian car and is a one owner car. My father purchased this vehicle new and only drove it till 1976. It has sat in a barn ever since. He has since passed away, thus my reaching out for anybody else who may have a survivor car that used to operate in the colder climates. I have ordered the PHS documents and am waiting and hoping maybe it will clear this up for me. Pics to follow soon and a million more questions.

Cool, can you post pic of pump end. Does it have a electrical connection?

Nice to see an original survivor, how many miles on the clock?

Just shy of 63000. Car was parked in 1976. Sat inside of a garage inside of a garage up on blocks. Gas tank was drained. Car was started up about once a year. Connected the fuel pump to a coffee can of gas and only ran it till the can was empty. Truly a survivor car. Just got it on the road a month ago. All I had to do was put on a new exhaust, change lower ball joints, and new brakes all around. Been running really good until a couple days ago when the carb started acting up. Will put a rebuild kit in it when i get a chance.

Yup with a factory 4 speed! Unique combination.

I also thought a fold down rear seat with a standard interior was unique. Did your father order the car?

I don't find an engine block heater in the '67 options list that I have.

My 67 convertible was originally a 326 2bbl with a 4 speed and safe-t-trac rear
