The Vikings haven't had a quarterback in 30 years. Why shouldn't they take a chance?

Yes, yes, please take a chance!
a guy that is that indecisive does not make a good qtr back!

When I look at the current options, Mary Poppins would make better decisions...

still better then the current QB....
most dont want to play in the arctic circle up there

Do we HAVE to go through this garbage EVERY training camp season now?

Didn't he set a record for interceptions last season? HELLO!!!!

Anybody remember what happened when Joe Namath went to go play for the LA Rams?

Watching Favre blubbering at his re-re-re-retirement at the end of another season is like watching Groundhog Day. The Vikes loss will be the Bears' gain by again having him playing catch with the Bears' defense. grin

Yes, yes, please give him a chance. We've got some great cornerbacks and safetys in Green Bay.

And they will all be waving to Adrian Peterson as he runs by them.

(sorry, just had to stir the pot)

Yes, Yes, you can have him. I'm pretty happy with the packs defense right now. I just hope that the new scheme dosn't screw it up to much. GO PACK!!

Sorry, I'm not a Vikings fan. Both of my parents are from Wisc and they raised me right. LOL

Let's keep it good natured and stir it all season!

IF youre going to stir the pot...then Ill offer up this thought: If MV are going to take a chance on a 40 yr QB who is coming off bicep surgery, why not take a chance on a convicted felon in Michael Vick? Forget the animal stuff for minute.. the guys legs, arm should be fresh, he's got something to prove in showing he can still play, and if put in the backfield with AP...could be interesting..

As for me, Im just soooo thankful that BF is gone and we dont have to go through the "will he or wont he play" routine this year. Thank you AR!!

I agree. Over the years I have always thought Brett was the best QB to have. Skills or not, he was always an emotional leader. Reminded me of Elway and Montana. They always could carry the entire team up a hill for a win. MN has never had anything close to that since Tarkington.

Gotta agree here too. I see one year with Brett (win or lose), but MV w/ MV (no pun intended) could last a number of additional years.

But the tree and animal huggers in MN would never go for that.

That's usually the formula for my first choice!

While BF is/was an incredibly competitive athlete, there comes a time in every single game where you're pulling your hair out because of the bone head mistakes.

I honestly dont think Brad Childress has the guts to pull BF if he starts tossing interceptions either.

Brett is untouchable. If Brett goes to camp with TJ and Sage, and TJ looks better, do you honestly think Childress will play TJ vs Brett?

Does Brad want to be the coach that starts TJ and breaks BFs iron man record for consecutive starts...even if TJ is ready to start and gives MV the best chance to win?

It will be an interesting spring season, and Im thankful that up in Green Bay we dont have the Brett saga hanging over our heads...again...and again...and again...

Brett...the never ending story...

Chilly is desperate. Another non-playoff season or missed SB will likely cause that big bounce out the door on his arse.

Desperate people do desperate things...

What's Mike Tice doing these days?

I do not regret any of the seasons that Brett Favre played in Green Bay.

I do not respect how he has behaved at the end of his career.

He may give the Vikings some excitement. I think we're ready for him.
