First Generation Firebird
So I was surfing through YouTube the other day and came across this video:

It shows a guy driving his ‘69 firebird, (called Suzy Q) he says for the last time, before having to sell it. I’ve had a tear in my eyes a few times over the years when I’ve needed to sell one of my cars, because there’s only so much room in the garage.

Even so, it got me thinking about this guy and I felt kind of sorry for him. I wondered who he is? And why he had to sell. And why he wanted to immortalise himself with the car in such a cool video. The video is beautifully done and would have been a lot of work.

It reminds me of another video of a road trip through France in a ‘67, that I found years ago:

It was also very cool, though the lyrics to the soundtrack were really weird and I remember spending far too much time trying to work out what it was all about.

Maybe someone here knows more about these videos?
