Hi Everyone. I am relatively new to this site but am need of some help. Recently purchased a 69 Firebird Conv on Ebay. The cold air vent on the driver's side appears to open and close but what appears to be a gasket around the flapper is hanging loose as I view it thru the vent ball. I have removed everything from under the dash but still cannot access it to remove it. Do I need to remove the entire dash? Help here please. I see that the radio and 3 screws along the bottom would need to be removed. I do not see any screws along the top edge. What am I missing? Also, do I need to drop the steering column? Carl
