Hi,

I'm relatively newbie with differentials sorry ..

I have an open rear end Firebird 67 with 3.23 gears that needs a complete rebuild. I want to convert to limited slip too ..

What is the recipe and where I can find the parts (new or good used) ?

I’ve got the limited slip carrier for a stock Pontiac rear end.

They don’t make aftermarket posi’s for 3.23. Only 3.36 and numerically higher. You will need to buy Ron’s

Just my .02, but I would get Ron's posi unit. It is a direct swap, all the parts to do the job are available, while you have it apart, replace axle bearings & seals.
