I want to restore the front buckets in a Firebird 400 I just purchased. The interior is original and in decent shape but sitting on the front seats is like sitting on a board, foam is compressed to nothing. What is the best choice for covers and foam in terms of quality at a reasonable price. Thanks.

I used Legendary Auto Interiors for the seat covers and American Cushion foam from NPD. Very happy with both. Seat covers are expensive but very high quality.

Check the springs out also, they break often

Has anyone ever added support to the back seat springs to make them more supportive? When an adult sits on them they just go to the bottom of the seat.

Cant wait for summer...

Yes, back in the day when I daily drove mine I ended up cutting a couple of pieces of thick high density foam and putting it underneath. No more complaints.
