I am seeking measurement reference points to ensure the quarter door frame assemblies are not located too far forward. The seat belt mounting hole on the quarter door frame seems to be a logical keystone.
I'm preparing to start building my car again and I am concerned with the placement of the left and right quarter door frames. This car is being built from the ground up since my original car was not square and unreliable from being hit and backyard repaired so many times (prior to me buying it).
Frame rails, trunk pan, and floor pan are all assembled. The quarter door frames are sitting on the jig and held on with body clamps.
Selling a set of New Vintage USA (NVU) Performance 3-1 White gauges part number 01257-03. Installed once but never used. $659.99 value. Also, included is a GM Hall Effect Speedometer Sender which is at least $40 - 50.00 value. I have installed the same gauges but with a different color gauge background. They fit perfectly in a 69 dash bezel. These will supposedly fit a 67 and 68 also if using the correct NVU adapter. These can also be installed in various other vehicles, but would contact NVU to verify. For the 69 you have to use the NVU adapter plate and the original 69 gauge housing piece that goes between the gauges and the clear plastic cover. Letting all this ($700.00 Value) go for $400.00 plus shipping. My mistake gives you a good deal on this. Message me if you would like more info and I can provide more pics. Here is a link to the NVU adapter plate you would have to buy. http://newvintageusallc.mybigcommer...pFyAEgwU9QWAYPUNK_7B-agwooYJeiOmehqnVNIU If interested and you have a 67-68 I can also send the link for the adapter you need to work on those years. I have also included a pic of what they look like installed in the 69 dash Bezel at the bottom.

I realize this is a longshot, but I'm always amazed by how many extra parts people have stored away so maybe someone has this part. I'm looking for a passenger side ORIGINAL '69 Convertible Rear Armrest in Parchment. The pics are my driver side rear armrest. I'm looking for a matching passenger side.
The parking brake pedal in my ‘69 is mounted to the firewall but not to the dash. I’ve spent many hours trying to figure this one out. Nothing seems to line up and fit properly,
I’m thinking that it might b possible that the wrong assembly is installed in my car. The shaft for the release handle is kind of angled and offset to the right and that keeps it from mounting to the point that I think it’s supposed to go to.
Does anyone know a way to identify the year of the assembly?
I need a throttle body/base for a 1968 Firebird Rochester Quadrajet 7028264 with the passenger side vacuum port.
I have been informed that all the 1968 non-Ram Quadrajet bases should have the same casting number on them so any spare base with the passenger side vacuum port you may have from a 7028264, 7028266, 7028265, 7028269, 7028271 should work. I'm not sure if the Sprint carbs are the same or not.
Something I've tried with some success, it is definatley better but not a cure all.
Don't buy "high octane" fuel, I tried buying 87 octane and just add Lucas Octane Booster ( the only real one left on the market). Fuel Manufacturers ar taking the cheap way out to make what they call high octane, they are adding more ethanol, that will only lower the temperature that your fuel will boil.
I am running a 400 with 10.75-1 comp and very advanced timing, I am having zero issues, I still boiled some on a very hot day but I have seen a huge improvement.
