I am trying to figure out how the hell I am supposed to hook up the kick down cable on this new carb. 69 350 with a new edelbrock 2156 intake and a edelbrock 1406 carb. I have the throttle figured but need help on the kick down cable.

Not being a SA, but a Q-jet would make that connection a lot easier.
You need a KD bracket to hold that cable which attaches to your throttle arm to "kick down" at WOT.
Yup that's the answer and won't make too much difference that it's not a q-jet :-) Even though I am also partial to q-jets and yes they are sort of plug n play on Pontiacs. You order it based on your tranny. Can get them in 3 different colors! Might have been part of the kit when your ordered it? Might be worth getting someone on the phone. Ames carries Edelbrock carbs and they are all Pontiac so i'll bet they know exactly what you need right off.

Love seeing you build the 350. Too many 350 haters around. Let us know what you have going on and how it comes out!!
