First Generation Firebird
I've been spending a lot of time improving the paint on my 69. I've color sanded and compounded several areas and i'm pretty happy except that if I look very closely I can see some sanding scratches and some swirls. I finished sanding with #3000 paper and used PPG compound with a sponge and on lows speed. Back in the day I would have used Liquid Ebony now. However I understand they are out of business so I can't get any. I do have some left but it's very old and I don't know if I dare try it. So what products do you all like to use for this purpose?
Thanks,
Doug
I like Meguiar's. I use the professional products. I use their Ultra cut 105 then 205 then top it with M21. I use a DA polisher.
