I ran across a couple of lower airdams recently. Now I know 69's have them. One of them was a little narrower, I presume it is for a 68 or 67. Do you guys know if 67 and 68 had them on the cars? it looks almost exactly the same as the 69 dam.

Yes, supposedly only 4 speed cars and cars with A/C, but I have two 350 A/T cars without air that had them. So not always a rhyme or reason.
And yes, the 7's and 8's are narrower than the '69's.

X2. My 350 coupe with 2bbl and 2sp powerglide came with it
And my 400HO with TH400 came with it.

Thanks guys, I figured that it was for 67/68 really surprised to find them.

Mary's car came with one too and it was a plain jane 350 vert. I figured it was just the lack of communication on the production lines back then

The lower air dams are part of the extra cooling package that included the upper "block off plates" that help channel air through the grill and straight into the radiator area. All 1st Gen 400 and A/C cars had them along with drivetrain/option combos the engineers felt would run hot, especially if ordered for a warm climate area.

I bought a HO350 69 w/3 spd non air w/3.55 rear in 1976 that came with the air dam but without the upper block off plates. Note: It also came with the 3/8” fuel line from the sending unit and the1/4” vapor return line.
