Hi, I’m installing a 67 shifter and console in my column steering car.
I found the location of the console bracket through some threads on this site. Now I need to cut the hole for the shifter in the tunnel. I bought a alluminium template for this but there is quite some “play”.
Can anybody tell me what the location of the whole is in relation to the console bracket?
I can use the template for the dimensions of the hole.
Thank you!
Dan

I don't have my console bracket installed right now, but the front edge of the shifter hole is 3.75 inches back from the center of the bracket hole.
'67 400 coupe with TH400 trans, if it matters.
