Hi all you great first generation of Firebirds!
My question is? Does anyone know where I can find the correct base Carburetor gasket that fits correctly for my ver Rare Rochester quadra jet Carb.
This engine is a 400 automatic California Smog engine. Very Rare carb. And intake manifold. Please help!! The engine will not idle, losing vacuum around the carb. And manifold..

Not sure that is true meaning the smog models used a different gasket. What is unique for 1967 is there is a special gasket and a thin stainless plate under the carburetor. Ames has them both.

Thank you!
The typical auto zone Rochester carb. gasket does not seal properly. Leaving me with a engine that does not idle! Jerry
