Been off-line for a while as I was in a vehicle accident (not in my Firebird). Can't say (post) much about it as we have had to hire an attorney. My ability to type is slow and I get tired quickly. Sorry Bjorn for not getting back to you.

God Bless the men and women past and present that have served this country. Thank you. Support D.A.V. - it helps gives a life back to those who gave so much for us.....
Been there myself. Wish you the best and I hope you found a good attorney. Somehow I managed to find the greatest attorney possible (never knew they even existed). We put our case in the hands our attorney and told him that we would trust him and do EXACTLY as he recommended, we did and things played out the the letter just as he told us it would. He said it would come down to 48 months from the date of the accident to settle (State of FL time line prior to trial by jury) case was settled at month 46 just as he predicted.
Bottom line, find an attorney you feel comfortable with in your gut and trust him/her and hope they lead you down the right path. I wish you all the best! now just imagine having this accident in your FGF! That is what happened to us. Best of luck to you!!!
Thanks guys. I am slowly getting better but the pain is the toughest thing to beat. Surgeon says that by May 5th I will know how well the surgeries have gone and if I will need more. Thank God for my wife and her love for me. Without her I would be in far worse shape.
Surgeon said the healing is going well and pulled the pins out. One of them wouldn't come so easy and had to lean into it. I thought my wife was going to pass out lol. X-rays look good. Going to be another month in braces until she will let me go to therapy. I am allowed to lift 5lbs with my left hand and nothing with the right. I am right handed so it has been a learning curve.
Pins and braces. That's serious injuries. And most likely on pain killers? if so, be as stingy as possible with them. Know a few people that ended up in rehab from them. Hope you get full recovery.

Thanks RW. The pins were in my left hand but its my right wrist that was shattered and was in the worst condition. I also had three broken ribs on the left side. I am no stranger to pain medication and do know the dangers of them. I had a near fatal motorcycle accident in 03' where my hip was dislocated. My sciatica had tow inches of it crushed during the accident and is what has created some of the problems I have. Had it worked on extensively and finally a THR in 04'. I take pain meds for chronic pain from that. For this one they put me on some stuff I had never taken before and do not like it at all. I will not be staying on it and will go back to the much weaker stuff I was taking before.
Hang in there Marc. Consider acupuncture for your pain. After 5 sessions I am able to drive again without pain. The Chinese have been doing this for over 1000 years.
Good luck!
P.S. I'm converted lefty clicker now, but still have mouse on the right side. lol
I recall my Dirt bike accident in 90, when I broke my knee (Labor day) just before Christmas they started me working the knee back, told me to step up onto a phone book a couple of times daily...luckily for me we spent Christmas in Paris ,Tx that winter! lol...phone book was about 1/4 " LOL...
