I wish I had the tools to build one. I will need one pretty soon once I get my engine back from the builder! Hell, I have some drawings off the internet and I cant even find someone here in this small town who will even build it for me Good job on it Gus!!

USMC Ordy. I cannot fathom any rural area not having a welding shop nearby. If you were closer I would help you build one. How about a vo-tech college near you? Some of them offer welding classes, and they would know someone who could weld it up for you. How about checking for the nearest welding supply house? They would know local welders. Or try posting on Craigslist... Cal
That's very cool. Not to knit-pick but I had always been told that if you ran an engine with no manifolds like that you would warp the valves when they cooled off too fast after you shut it down. Might be BS. Just what I was told.

DID not know that. Did not run it very long but I will put a manifold on now. wanted to do exhaust and mufflers but too expensive.
I'd planned on using an old subframe but yours is more compact, might have to rethink my plans
I thought of using a frame as well but not worth it, take up too much room, heavy, hard to move and more difficult to get at. I'll take some pics and post them.

Hey Cal, that is a great idea!! I never thought about contacting the community college welding class and see what they would charge for the supplies and do it. Thanks man!!
