That is what I said when I stopped by body shop and saw that... Thanks Bill. Looks like they should be done with the car sometime around the middle of July to the end of July. Fingers crossed! I cant wait to see the whole car painted.

God Bless the men and women past and present that have served this country. Thank you. Support D.A.V. - it helps gives a life back to those who gave so much for us.....
More up dates on the body work. I also have a couple of pics of the air extractors I wanted on my fenders and I really like how they made them look seamless on the fender panels. Also some pics of the engine build progress.
Really, really nice Cam. Getting jealous over here! Specs on the engine?
Thanks Buddy, Pic of the custom comp hyd roller cam card, and the block is bored .30 over forged crank, pistons and rods and 4.250 stroker with edelbrock performer rpm topped with a Holley 870 street avenger and RobbMc 550 HP fuel pump. You can see the Edelbrock round port alum heads with scorpion rockers with custom push rods. I think that is it with the engine.
Car looks great!!! Nice to see your staying with Pontiac power also. We need more pics.
Thanks Robert. Sorry it took me so long to respond, just got power back on from dealing with Hurricane Florence and the car survived by the body shop putting it in the paint booth during the hurricane. Minor damage to our house but am thankful no flooding and still here. Will post some more pics when I can get them downloaded.
Very nice! I am using the Z/28 spoiler too, just like the way it looks. I thought about placing the 400 emblem where you did, but have never seen it done. It looks really good on yours. What was involved in fitting it to the concave surface of the spoiler?

Ron, I actually went looking for pics online because I really wanted to keep that 400 emblem on the back there and I found some pictures while looking around online and thought it looked good like that so I said yes, I like that and obviously I did it. It wasnt hard at all, just a couple of measurements that I took from the existing trunk position and tried to place it on the same position on the spoiler in relation to the trunk position. It actually fits really good in the place that it is located right now. Not very much bend right there and the retainers barely mount up to the emblem in the inside of the spoiler because of the spoiler thickness, but it works.
Bringing this back to life as I have completed a little more. Finally got all the sound deadening put in and now I start on the heat insulation. I also got a sneak peak of my engine which is almost completed. One step closer.
More progress today. Installed the TMI 7 piece carpet and installed one of the Corbeau sport seat along with the pass side seat bracket. The carpet looks good but it needs to relax a little still.
Beautiful car. Nice job with the cam selection... should make some great street-friendly power. Might need to throw about 14 degrees timing at it for idle.
