1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible. Non-numbers matching (means you can drive the heck out of it and have some fun with it), fresh 455 engine and 4-speed. See this link for some specifics and some more pictures.
Of course, serious inquiries only, no joy rides. I do live in a rural area (Sierra Foothills in California), so if you're really interested you'll be willing to go for a drive to see it in person.
Car was originally a 326 automatic, previous owner changed it to a 400 style, did the body/paint work. I changed the engine to a 455, replaced the stereo (they already cut the radio opening to accept a DIN style radio), rebuilt 4 speed and other maintenance. Driven rarely since I moved to the mountains, car should be driven more! Heater has been deleted, it's not a winter car, top is usually down.
If you are interested, let's talk. Asking $27k, I will consider serious offers, but no guarantees.

It's not a Pontiac color :-( The guy that owned it before me painted it, it's a late model Toyota color from what I understand....I do like how it looks on it, but it's not an original color.
It looks very similar to '67 Mariner turquoise. That's the color I plan to use on my '68 coupe with teal interior. Looks like your interior is turquoise though.

I should note that on the website I say it has a Vintage Aire system installed, that is no longer correct, I removed all of that and it actually has a heater delete as well....never used it.....there's a subwoofer installed up under the dash where the heater box was.
Ken, beautiful 'vert. You should have no trouble selling it.
Can I ask what is the purpose of the strap attached to the inside of the rear header bow? And is there a zipper on the top part of the split window? I've never seen one before. Thanx.
Ya' know, I never noticed that zipper and strap before :-) Top is usually down!
It's not a vinyl top, it's a "premium" aftermarket one I think (previous owner put it in). Looks like you can roll up the back and that strap would hold it up. I'll need to pop the top up and take a peek at that!
