IMO, they look MUCH better than the outragously expensive billet aluminum Rally II's from Wheel Vintiques which I think look way too flat for some reason.
Might have to go in this direction some day 'cause even though I upgraded to OEM 15 inch Rally II's, the mainstream tire companies are abandoning 15 inch sizes. I'm pretty sure all I will be able to get will be reproductions from Cooker Tire when I need 15 inchers next time.

Yep, this has been a hot topic over on PY. We need a verification though that the 8" wheels are truely available. The last I heard, they are not. We need the 8's for the fronts on our first gens due to fender clearances. The 2nd gens and the A-bodies can make the 9's work up front but ours are less forgiving.
Can you provide a link to the PY debate? I would be interested in reading it.

I called year one to ask about the 17 x 8 cast rally II's for the front of my 68 firebird and they told me that they just got them in but the manufacture made a mistake and cut them with a 4.25" backspacing instead of the 4.50" that they wanted.
My question is would this back spacing work on a 8 inch rim in the front of a stock 68? If so what size tire will work? 235/40/17?
Wanted to know before I drive up there and buy them.
There is a guy here in California that has a lot of repops for a lot of different cars including firebirds and Camaros, see him every month at the Long Beach Hi-Perf swap meet, looks good quality Paul's 760-749-8205
