I am trying to track down the original block from my car. I need a 1969 350 block with the numbers 119466 on the front. Any help is appreciated. I may track down the owners to see which removed the motor and did something with it but does anyone know how to go about doing this? Or will it be an impossible task and I should not bother?
Needle in a haystack. 350 blocks were commonly junked for the past 30 years.
I'd start with previous Owners, but likely someonw will say "oh, yea, that thing blew up and they carted it away".
If someone took the time to pull it and save it for a future Owner, it would more than likely stayed with the car.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
