I have a 68 firebird....I am wondering if anyone has ever put the trans am/firebird hood decal on a 68? I have not been able to see a picture of one - perhaps because it's such a bad idea. I was lusting after the new transam and wondered what the bird would look like on a 68. I realize the decal is formed to go around the shaker.

My mother used to work at a Pontiac dealership for the latter half of the '70's and early '80's. I used to go in to work with her on Sunday mornings and trace the screaming chickens. I think I have many of them still. I used to airbrush them on cars as part of my college business. Also did the El Camino knights on many cars and lots of pinstriping.
***All back when that stuff was cool and in style***
I'd cringe to do that to my cars now.

I've never heard it. But have only been a JC fan the past five years. One of the few musician's my wife likes that I can tolerate. I enjoyed the video and the story. I could see that happening back in the '50's and '60's. Probably a lot harder these days.
