The tach on my '69 Firebird 400 worked until I installed a Pertronix Ignitor unit to replace the points and condenser. I reconnected the wire from the tach to the new coil, but the tach won't work. What do I need to do in order to get the tach to work again?

If memory serves me right...it will work but you need a wiring modification. Someone on site will know exactly what you need.
DISCONNECT tach while you wait ...
