First off, what year car? The parchment shades are different between '67 and '68 for instance.
I tried out the '67 parchment shade of interior vinyl dues from Ames and they came out pretty good on both hard and soft materials.
Read their parchment recommendations on the interior paint page in their catalog carefully. They strongly suggest using their off white color (VDM37) 1st in several coats on black paintable surfaces because the parchments shades have a pearl in them. Multiple coats of just the parchment color will result in over-saturation of the pearl.
