I have used a number of gloss levels of black under the hood of my 69. After trying again to align the bumper, filler bar and so on I found I needed to touch up the various pieces between the bumper and the radiator support. So I went ahead and prepped the area and shot it again with the same cresol can I used before. To my disappointment the paint I put down 6 months ago wrinkled up like I had sprayed lacquer over enamel. This is just like the problem I had a few years ago with Eastwood's Chassis Black. These paints are great as long as you never have to coat over them. But if you do you will need to strip off all the old paint before repainting. I'm doing that but I'm going back to my old standby of Rustoleum that I've been using with no issues since 1975. Just be aware before you order spray cans like I did from major parts suppliers. Doug
