Got a question for y’all. I was installing my gas tank after replacing the sending unit. The service manual said 7lb of torque. The torque wrench I have was to small to accommodate my socket so I used not the best judgement and over torqued one of the retaining strap bolts behind the bumper. I realized this when the bolt was suddenly crooked a little bit. When I backed it out a turn it straightened however, now the retaining strap is not snug against the tank as it should be. Not “loose†or hanging but about 1/16 of an inch gap. How can I remedy this being as how the bolt is in the body? Thanks
