PAINT STRIPES AND DECALS COLOR USAGE

Vinyl Side Stripes. Special “Sprint” side stripes of vinyl applique are included as part of the extra-cost “Sprint” Option on Tempest, Tempest Custom and LeMans Sports Coupes, and Tempest Custom and LeMans Hardtop Coupes and Convertibles.
The Firebird H.O. has similar lower body stripes as standard equipment.
If side stripes are not desired on any of the above models, the “Delete Stripe” option should be checked on the 1968 Wholesale Car Order.

Optional vinyl rally stripes are available on the Firebird, Firebird Sprint, Firebird 350 and Firebird 400, as an extra-cost item.
Paint Stripes. Two narrow, full-length, body paint stripes are available for all GTO models and Grand Prix, as an extra-cost option. In addition, a “GTO” decal on the right and left rear quarter is standard on all GTOs.
Stripe and decal colors will be used according to the following color chart:
