WARRANTY COVERAGE

In general, the complete Vehicle, except tires, including all equipment and accessories manufactured or supplied by Pontiac, are covered for 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first, under the provisions of the Pontiac New Vehicle Warranty.

For ready reference, however, there are listed below some of the specific parts covered by the Pontiac New Vehicle Warranty beyond 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Required Guardian Maintenance services appear below.

GUARDIAN MAINTENANCE SERVICES REQUIRED

As an express condition of the Pontiac New Vehicle Warranty, once every 12 months the owner is required to furnish an authorized Pontiac Dealer evidence that the following required maintenance services have been performed in accordance with the time and/or mileages stated and use of oils, greases, fluids and parts equivalent

to the type and quality specified for these items in the 1968 Owner’s Manual. If these services are performed by other than the authorized Pontiac Dealer who will execute the required 12-month Validation Report, receipts or copies of repair work orders will be required as evidence that the required services have been performed.

Where both time and mileage are shown, the frequency of service is determined by whichever occurs first.
