Welcome to First Generation Firebird. These Terms of Use are the agreement between you and First Generation Firebird (“FGF,” “we,” “us”) for
using FirstGenFirebird.org, including our Forums and the Online Car Show Registry. By using the site you accept these terms. If we update
them, the revision date at the bottom changes, and continuing to use the site means you accept the update.

## Who Can Use This Site

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account here — on the Forums, the Online Car Show Registry, or anywhere else on the site.
Reading the site requires no account and no age statement, but accounts and submissions are for adults.

## Trademarks and Ownership

FirstGenFirebird, First Generation Firebird, and FGF are trademarks of this site’s owner. Pontiac and Firebird are registered trademarks of
General Motors; this is an independent enthusiast site, not affiliated with or endorsed by GM. The content of this site — text, graphics,
page design, and the databases we have built over three decades — is protected by copyright. You may read, link to, and print pages for
personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or sell site content without permission.

## Acceptable Use

Plainly: be a good guest. You agree not to scrape or harvest the site or its members’ information; probe, scan, or test the site’s security;
interfere with the site’s operation; impersonate anyone or forge identifying information; or use anyone else’s account. Automated collection
of content for AI training is not permitted (see our robots.txt for machine-readable signals).

## Your Submissions

You may submit material to the site — forum posts, comments, and photographs, including car photos in the Online Car Show Registry
(“Submissions”).

– You must own your Submissions or have the right to share them.
– You grant FGF a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display your Submissions
for the purpose of operating and promoting the Site. You keep ownership of your own photos and words.
– We do not pre-screen Submissions, but we may edit or remove any Submission at our discretion.
– Do not post material that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, or infringing, and do not post private information — yours or anyone
else’s — in public areas.
– Be polite. Don’t be a troll, and don’t spam your fellow members.

## The Online Car Show Registry

The Online Car Show Registry is a free community showcase and contest. By entering, you agree to the Show’s rules as posted on the Show’s
rules page, which include:

– Entry is free; no purchase is necessary.
– You may enter only vehicles you own, with your own photographs.
– Public voting determines recognition; one vote per car per day per visitor is enforced. We log technical information with each vote to
keep voting honest, and we may disqualify entries or discard votes where we find manipulation.
– Recognition (such as a winner’s badge or digital trophy) has no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred. Our decisions on
entries, votes, and recognition are final.
– We may remove any entry that violates these terms or the Show rules.

## Advertising

The site displays third-party advertisements (served by Google AdSense) to help pay its costs. We do not choose, endorse, or warrant
advertised products or services. Your dealings with advertisers are between you and them.

## Copyright Complaints

We respect copyright. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: (1) the location
(URL) of the material, (2) proof or a description of your ownership, (3) your contact information, and (4) a statement that you believe in
good faith the use is unauthorized. We will review and, where appropriate, remove the material.

## Accounts and Termination

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these
terms, and we may remove inactive accounts. If your account is closed, your public Submissions may remain (the license above survives), or

## No Warranty and Limits on Liability

This site is a hobby community, offered free, AS IS. We work hard on accuracy — thirty years of it — but we make no warranties about any
information here, and you use it at your own risk. Restoration and mechanical information in particular: verify before you rely on it; your
car, your tools, your responsibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FGF is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages arising from your use of the site.

## Indemnification

If your Submissions or your breach of these terms causes a legal claim against FGF, you agree to cover the costs and damages of that claim.

## Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and any disputes will be heard in the courts of the operator’s home county.

## Feedback

We welcome feedback and suggestions about the site, and we may use them without restriction or compensation. (Please use the suggestion
forms; unsolicited commercial pitches become ours to ignore.)
