Paint Types
Short answer: A common DIY-friendly choice is acrylic enamel — it sprays well and, with color-sanding and buffing, shines up nicely. Use a good brand (PPG or Sherwin-Williams), and avoid metallic-flake paints until you have real spray experience — they’re much harder to get right.
