Hidden VINs

Short answer: The one hidden VIN most people agree on is the cowl VIN, stamped below the cowl cover. Beyond that, claims of “secret” VIN locations are mostly speculation — suspected spots include somewhere on the subframe, along the trunk gutter, and on the floor pan, but these aren’t reliably documented. Non-factory weld seams are the easier authenticity tell.
