Power Windows Adjustments

Short answer: Hard-to-raise power windows are usually old grease that’s turned to tar, not an adjustment. Remove the motor unit, open it up, clean out the hardened grease (carb cleaner), and re-grease — they work much better afterward.

Also check for a helper spring that was reinstalled backwards, and clean any carbon scoring on the switches/relays (the motors draw a lot of current) — De-Oxit works for this. Careful: that helper spring is under tension and stings if it gets you.
