Heater Core Replacement (Non-A/C)

Short answer: It’s a tough job — the heater core is in the air box behind the glove box. On a non-A/C car you can usually reach all the bolts without removing the passenger-side fender well, and the control cables are easy to remove and replace. While the box is out, clean it up and refresh it with semi-flat black. (A/C cars are considerably harder.)
