350 HO for 1969
Short answer: From the 1969 Firebird Pontiac Engine Production Logs:
| Code | Trans | Count |
|---|---|---|
| WN | manual | 2,455 |
| XC | auto | 2,670 |
| YR | auto (early-prod type?) | 2 |
That’s 5,127 total 350 H.O. engines — so not many originals likely survive. By comparison, 56,052 standard 350 engines were built:
| Code | Count |
|---|---|
| XB (auto) | 11,673 |
| YE (auto) | 35,915 |
